Project Every Girl

Sponsoring a girl is the most powerful way you can help to restore and empower a young girl rescued from sex trafficking because it ensures there are always funds available for her care.

Transitions’ Project Every Girl is a sponsorship program that enables a personal and unique way to empower and connect to a girl’s life, and provides the privacy and security sensitivities essential in work with survivors of sex trafficking. Each girl has chosen her own alias and is given a custom portrait drawn uniquely for her. With this she is connected to a sponsor, and through careful monitoring by the Transitions team, can receive encouragement and interaction that lets her know how much she is valued and how many people around the world care about her success.

We have developed this pioneering program over several years, consulting with professionals on how to best create sponsorship opportunities that honor, protect, and also inspire our girls to heal, reach for the stars,  and achieve their dreams.  We know, that knowing you are there, supporting, encouraging and believing in their success can make a huge difference on a bad day, or when things seem overwhelming. Thank you for joining us in the restoration of lives, dreams and futures!

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my monthly donation used in the restoration process of a girl?

With your monthly sponsorship, you help provide safe shelter, medical and dental care, restorative counseling, education, career training and so much more. Sponsoring a girl is truly the most powerful way you can help restore and empower a young girl rescued from sex trafficking experience freedom, hope and a dream for the future.

Is there a minimum sponsorship amount?

Yes, Project Every Girl sponsorships start at $25 a month.

How will I be connected to my sponsored  girl?

Once you complete your sponsorship, you will be sent an informational packet outlining the program in detail. You will receive a beautifully illustrated card matching the one on the sponsorship page, instructions to connect to your sponsored girl in a private forum, instructions for appropriate communication, and a thank you from the Transitions Team.

Can I send a gift to the girl I am sponsoring?

Unfortunately, there is no way to handle this logistically and fairly to all the girls in the program. There are other ways to engage on this level though. We encourage you to attend one of our annual Engagement Trips to Cambodia and participate in our annual Christmas in Cambodia fundraiser.

What if the girl I am sponsoring becomes fully sponsored?

If the girl you are sponsoring becomes fully sponsored, your donation will be used to care for another girl in the program who is still in need.

What if the girl I am sponsoring leaves the program or graduates?

If the girl you are sponsoring leaves the program, we will contact you to let you know and you can chose to sponsor another girl at that time. When a girl graduates and moves into our STAR House program, your sponsorship will continue to support her during this critical year.

What if I want to change the amount of my sponsorship or I need to cancel my sponsorship?

Just send an email to giving@transitionsglobal.org and we will take care of it for you.

How often can I expect to receive an update from Cambodia?

We will send a full update twice a year, but you can always stay up to date through our regular newsletter, and Facebook Fan page, along with your own interactions with your sponsored girl.
