Transitions Global believes that education is a two-way process. We can provide learning opportunities, but we often learn new things from those we teach. Internships are exactly that – an opportunity to learn and to contribute in a meaningful way.

We've learned that the field of sex trafficking – specifically working with survivors – is an largely misunderstood field, in need of experienced professionals. Our organization has a number of opportunities for you to use your skills, talents, and passions. We can provide the experience of a lifetime, as well as, the opportunity to learn how we build new lives for survivors of sex trafficking.

Here are a few things our former interns have had to say about their experiences at Transitions Global:

I have learned more about life, friendship, pain, humility, respect, loyalty, freedom, and love from these young women than I have in 23 years of traveling the world. Each day I find it difficult to put them out of my mind… as they have become my sisters… as with faith comes encouragement, with encouragement comes empowerment, and with empowerment, a woman can conquer the world.

               -Shabnam Aggarwal, Intern, TLC Cambodia

Interning with Transitions Global in Cambodia has been nothing short of an enriching experience that gave me the opportunity to become part of a great cause; one that helped girls rebuild the future that was stolen from them. Since day one, I was learning and becoming involved in a cause so great that it transcended international borders and affected the lives of millions. From planning meal schedules to visiting courthouses to learning about the Cambodian justice system, each and every day was a new learning experience. Ultimately, the most difficult part of the internship was the farewell; after knowing that my contribution has helped changed the lives of many, what else can surpass that?

"Working for Transitions Global has helped me understand and create what I believe to be a loving community working within a cause greater than any person could imagine. Transitions Global has not only provided me with education and inspiration, but has given me new aspirations in terms of how I choose to walk through life. I have been taught patience, compassion, humility, and ambition through their guidance and will carry it with me always"

               - Elizabeth York, Intern, Portland, OR

Transitions Global is always looking for quality applicants for internship opportunities. Internships at Transitions Global are highly competitive and we use stringent standards for approving interns we accept. If you are interested in an internship with us, there are a couple of things you should know.

First, all internships with Transitions Global are all 'self-funded', meaning you are responsible for raising and providing your own support. Second, we do have some scholarships for outstanding applicants, but these are limited opportunities and we do not make the final decisions. After reviewing your application, we will let you know if you are eligible for a scholarship.
