Rescue

Kalianna was rescued and began her journey of restoration at the Transitions Dream Home in October 2011.

Favorites
Kalianna’s favorite dish is Kho Mam, a fish mixed with sugar and vegetables. A little bit sweet and a little bit sour, it is a mix of Cambodian and Vietnamese cooking. She loves the color yellow, and her favorite animal is the lion, because it is such a strong, handsome animal with lots of hair around the face.

Thoughts
Kalianna, if she could go anywhere in the world, would visit the coastal town of Sihanoukville in Cambodia so she could see her sister who works there. She likes to sing, her favorite songs being the traditional Cambodian ones because they represent the Cambodian people.

Dreams
Kalianna hopes to complete her education and to become fluent in English, then become a hairdresser in Phnom Penh. She would like to own a large home and dreams of having her mother come live with her so she doesn’t have to work collecting rubbish anymore.
